David Torres is an IT Support & Security Analyst at Vela Wood. He provides technical support across the firm and supports IT systems and security operations. Prior to joining Vela Wood, David served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force. He later served as a police officer with the New York City Police Department. David graduated magna cum laude from Collin College with an A.A.S. in Information Systems Cybersecurity. He also earned certifications in cybersecurity infrastructure and network support. He is currently pursuing a B.A.T. in Cybersecurity. In his spare time, he enjoys grilling BBQ and trying new recipes.
