Paras Patel is a Venture Legal Assistant at Vela Wood, where he supports Partner Radney Wood on corporate matters including entity formations and dissolutions, convertible security financings, and related venture transactions. His responsibilities include organizing and filing corporate documents, preparing signature packets, and providing general transactional support across the venture practice. Paras graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Government and Economics. Prior to joining Vela Wood, he served as a Compliance Analyst Intern with UT Austin’s Procurement and Payment Services Department and was a Head Online Editor for the Texas Undergraduate Law Journal. In his spare time, he enjoys reading philosophy, weightlifting, playing sports, and exploring new food spots with friends.
